CLASS UPDATE..

(17th September 2020)

Following on from last week's messages, a little further information for you all...

Due to Covid regulations and social distancing guidelines, we can only accommodate

15 dancers at any one time in Sandy Village Hall...

All spaces will need to be pre-booked and paid for in advance (no cash payments allowed) by means of an easy to use system set-up on Tracy's website: www.tjslinedancing.co.uk ...

In fairness to every dancer, we ask that you only book one class a week to begin with and we will revue this as soon as we can should you wish to do more... Potentially, we have more dancers than spaces and if a class is fully booked, please contact Tracy and you will be given priority the following week... We know this is not ideal, but the fairest way to

ensure that everyone will get a chance to dance...

Booking will commence through Tracy's website on Monday September 28th with a temporary cost of £6:50 per class. Apologies for the slight increase, but this includes the necessary booking fee and will return to the old price when things are able to return to normal... Unfortunately, there can be no class overlapping at present and you will need

to choose one class or the other...

To enable us to follow the strict Covid guidelines we will have in place to keep you all safe, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before dancing commences:

Monday: 6:45pm and 8:15pm    Tuesday: 1pm and 2:30pm

Actual class times will be:

Mondays: 7 - 8pm  &  8:30 - 10pm

Tuesdays: 1:15 - 2:15pm  &  2:45 - 4:15pm

We understand that this is a lot to think about, but at least we can dance together again. We will give a further update next week with what to do when you arrive at class etc...

Not too long now, can't wait XXX

STOP PRESS !!!

(11th September 2020)

Providing there are no further Covid restrictions put in place, the good news is that dancing can resume in October...

OCTOBER 5th - SANDY VILLAGE HALL - EVENING CLASSES COMMENCE...

There is no sign of Potton Scout Hall opening soon, therefore very kindly, Sandy Village Hall are letting us use their facilities on a Tuesday afternoon

(not available on a Wednesday) on a temporary basis...

OCTOBER 6th - SANDY VILLAGE HALL - AFTERNOON CLASSES COMMENCE...

We will be following strict Covid guidelines to keep you all as safe as we can...

This will involve some changes to what we're used to and I will post

more detailed information shortly...

This next piece of news will probably come as no surprise to you all after my poor performance over the past year or so, I am hanging up my teaching shoes and passing the reins to a fellow dance teacher called Tracy, whom some of you will already know or recognise...  She will pick up where I left off and I have every confidence in her to keep you on your dancing feet for many more years to come... Tracy has a wealth of teaching/dancing experience and has youth, energy and enthusiasm on her side...

You can't get rid of me that easily though, as I will be dancing alongside you all and  hopefully get back to the simple joy of dance without the pressure... I shall support Tracy for as long as she feels she needs and I can't wait...

I thank you all for your continued support over the past 25 years which have certainly had their moments... Friendships forged, fun and happy memories made...

I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart, love Sue X

I shall keep this website for a while, but please look at Tracy's website too which will have all the latest information and in time will replace this site entirely...
